Visual Liturgy 2.0 imageVisual Liturgy 2.0

Visual Liturgy 2.0 was released to provide a number of new features to VL users as well as providing elements of the new Common Worship material as it was published. Visual Liturgy 2.0 included:

  • The Calendar until 2010 with full texts of readings from the Common Worship Principal Service lectionary.
  • The Alternative Service Book lectionary was also provided until the end of 2000.
  • Bible readings in both the NIV and NRSV translations or from the ASB, with the option to pull in other texts from QuickVerse or Logos.
  • Common Worship: Initiation Services pre-installed.
  • Video projection and OHP acetate printing.
  • A hymn and song database of almost 2,000 items, including full texts where copyright allows.

Published on CD-Rom, this version was available as both a full version or as an upgrade. The version 2.0 upgrade could be used in conjunction with any previous version of Visual Liturgy. This version was also compatible with all the Visual Liturgy add-on modules.

This version could be used as a stand-alone product or could be combined with the Methodist version of Visual Liturgy to enable access to both sets of material within the same environment.
