Visual Liturgy 4.0 Tour

Would you like to host an event?

To coincide with the launch of Visual Liturgy 4.0 for Common Worship in the spring of 2003, Church House Publishing hope to co-ordinate a series of tour dates around the United Kingdom in order to provide users with demonstrations and training in the new release of the software.

Visual Liturgy 4.0 is significantly different to previous versions and support will be crucial to help users get up to speed with all the changes. In the past, such events have been immensely valuable in helping users to get the most from the software.

Church House Publishing will be attending a small number of training events around the UK. However, resources are limited and so, in order to cover as much of the country as possible, we are also sending out a challenge to dioceses, archdeaconries and deaneries ask them to host events and do the demonstrations and training themselves.

Church House Publishing are naturally very grateful to anyone who wants to help us promote the use of Visual Liturgy at the local level. If you take up the challenge you will be provided with as much support as possible to make your event a success.

You may like to run a full training day by finding a computer suite in the local area, perhaps at a local college or university, and providing hands-on training for users. Alternatively, you may prefer to do a simple demonstration in front of a watching audience. Both have their merits and much will depend on the facilities that may be available to you locally.

Whatever sort of event you decide to run, Church House Publishing will provide you with the following:

•  A copy of the Visual Liturgy 4.0 software to install (on one machine or many);
•  A ready-made demonstration using a Microsoft PowerPoint file;
•  Training notes and handouts;
•  Stock of Visual Liturgy 4.0 on a sale or return basis. You would get trade terms on the stock and be free to either give your users a discount and/or generate funds out of that discount towards the cost of the day for your diocese, archdeaconry or deanery;
•  Help with advertising the event including artwork, coverage on this web site, and mentions in upcoming mailings to registered users.

Visual Liturgy 4.0 is due out in the spring of 2003 and Church House Publishing are looking to run the tour events in May and June.
