Printing service sheets
This demonstration is taken from Visual
Liturgy 4.0 for Common Worship. As well as making the creation of a service
easier for users, version 4.0 has improved its options for the printing
of services as service sheets.
 When
creating a service, clicking Print on the Toolbar opens a dialogue box
that offers a choice of Print templates. Some basic templates
for the creation of different kinds of printout are provided as standard with
Visual Liturgy 4.0 for Common Worship. For example, there is a two-column
landscape printout for a simple A5 leaflet and a three-column landscape template
for an A4 gatefold leaflet.
 Clicking
on Preview allows users to look at the layout of the service before printing.
Users who have experience in designing style sheets and templates will be able
to add their own layouts to the files, and it is hoped that these templates and
other new templates from Church House Publishing will be shared via the Visual
Liturgy web site. All users will be able to download these extra templates into
their own copies of Visual Liturgy.
