The summary outline

The following sequence shows how Visual Liturgy helps you plan and prepare services. This demonstration is taken from Visual Liturgy 3.0 for Common Worship.

Once you have planned a service, one option is to copy the full text into a word processing or desktop publishing application for final layout and printing. Something else you may like to use is the summary outline. This changes your view of the service to just the essential details.

You have complete control over what is shown here. For example, some ministers find it helpful to have the collect and post communion prayer printed in full. Others prefer to simply list the readings and hymn numbers. You can set any item to appear in the summary (in full or just a reference), and you can save the template so that your preferences are saved for future use.
