The following sequence shows how Visual Liturgy helps you plan and prepare services. This demonstration is taken from Visual Liturgy 3.0 for Common Worship.

Using the lectionary calendar

You may not always need to plan a complete service. Using Visual Liturgy, it is easy to find the correct material for each Sunday or Saint's day in the church year. The lectionary calendar shows the collect, post communion prayer and readings for any particular day. You can search for particular events, such as when Easter occurs, and search by a particular date.

You can print the readings out to take away or even make your own notes. The calendar also links up with any services you have open, so you can move an item from the calendar to the service by dragging and dropping.
