What texts are included in Visual Liturgy?

What's in the hymn database?

Visual Liturgy includes over 5,000 popular hymns and songs cross-referenced to dozens of books, with the full text provided for items that are out of copyright.

There is also a complete index for each of the following books:

• A&M New Standard
• Mission Praise Combined
• Songs and Hymns of Fellowship Combined
• Spring Harvest 97
• New English Hymnal

For hymns and songs that are still under copyright restrictions, Visual Liturgy is only able to provide the first lines. In general, this is true for authors and composers who are still alive or have died in the last 70 years.

Full texts are available for approximately 1,000 hymns and songs in Visual Liturgy, all of which are out of copyright. There are also two add-on modules available - The Hymns and Worship Songs of the Canterbury Press and SongSelect - which provide the full texts for many hymns and songs which are still in copyright.
