Installing Methodist Worship Book for Visual Liturgy with Visual Liturgy 4.0 for Common Worship

We have aimed to make it as easy as possible to combine the Methodist Worship and Church of England versions of Visual Liturgy.

You should find that they work together perfectly.

In order to import Methodist Worship Book for Visual Liturgy into Visual Liturgy 4.0 for Common Worship, ensure both versions are fully installed and then follow these instructions:

1. Open Visual Liturgy 4.0 for Common Worship and go to File then Import module.
2. Choose to Import a VL3 database and click Browse to find your Methodist VL installation.
3. Navigate to the data folder of your Methodist VL installation and choose the Items.dbf file within that folder.
4. Click OK to begin the Import process.

Allow the Import process to complete fully before attempting to continue using Visual Liturgy. Once complete, shut down and re-open Visual Liturgy 4.0. Your Methodist material should now be fully imported.

Important update: Please note

The Import process is currently not working from the original Methodist Worship Book for Visual Liturgy (version 2.0 of the software) straight to version 4.0. In order to carry out the import while a fix is being worked on, use the free upgrade to version 3.0 available on this web site to update your copy of Methodist Worship Book for Visual Liturgy and then carry out the Import process as outlined above.
